Choosing a school for your child is a very important decision. There are many things that must be considered when making the choice. Our goal at Tanbridge is to provide you with as much information as possible about our school to ensure that you are making an informed decision about your child’s educational future. At Tanbridge, we believe the education of a student is a joint effort between the school and the student’s family.

Admission to Tanbridge Academy is based on the accumulation of information gathered in the following areas: the student’s academic history, their character, their extra-curricular involvement and their desire to be a part of the Tanbridge community. Our admissions process is thorough and it ensures that all students accepted to the Academy are mission appropriate students who will thrive in the Tanbridge environment.

While a student’s academic record and history is very important, Tanbridge Academy does not base acceptance on admissions testing. During the school year, all students will write a variety of standardized tests for determination of each student’s academic ability. This provides the teachers with valuable information regarding each student’s academic strengths. Tanbridge does not offer any modified academic courses.

For the 2008/09 school year, we will be offering classes for students in grades 4 – 8. Each grade will be capped at 15 students. Tanbridge Academy will continue adding a grade each year until we offer our first grade 12 classes in September of 2012. From that point forward, Tanbridge will offer grades 4 – 12.
